So what is PS?
What is RPS?
PS plastic, Chinese name: polystyrene. It is a kind of plastics containing styrene group in macromolecular chain. The main varieties include GPPS, HIPS, EPS and SPS. It is characterized by colorless, odorless and tasteless. PS is a relatively old plastic, after many years, its production process is also relatively perfect.
PS has good transparency (light transmittance is 88% -92%), glossy surface, easy to dye, high hardness, good rigidity, and good water resistance, chemical corrosion resistance and process flowability.
PS material is widely used in various industries:
1、 Electronic and electrical: can be used for manufacturing TV sets, tape recorders, various electrical equipment parts, casings, high-frequency capacitors, etc.
2、 Construction: Used for the production of transparent parts of public buildings, optical instruments and transparent models, such as lampshade, instrument cover, packaging container, etc.
