One of the issues attracted attention, which was the effect of water sealing on the water cup. Is it better to encapsulate the plastic or use a silicone sealing ring to seal the water?

There is a concept here, glue encapsulation. What is lagging? The rubber coating is to wrap the soft rubber of another material on the original material through secondary processing. The function of the rubber coating is mainly to increase the feel of the product and increase the friction of the product. The rubber coating can seal the water in the water cup.

The editor will not introduce the sealing function of the silicone ring in detail. This function can be said to be encountered every day in our daily life. Currently, most of the sealing accessories for civilian products on the market use silicone.

Since both silica gel and encapsulation can seal water, which method will have a better effect in sealing water?

Through this international video conference, I really learned a lot and understood the difference between the two. Under the same reasonable use environment, both can play a good role in sealing water, but silica gel is more durable and easier to produce. At the same time, silica gel is also safer and healthier. The longer it is used at any time, the more times it is used, and silica gel can also have many benefits. The water-sealing function has great stability, but soft glue is not good. Soft rubber has a short lifespan and relatively short durability. At the same time, during production, encapsulation has strict requirements on the structure of the product, and the production cost is relatively high.

When the water temperature is too high or the water cup encounters backlog deformation, etc., the water sealing property of the silica gel remains stable, and the encapsulated water cup will become serious and cause the water cup to leak.

So in general, compared with silica gel, silica gel has better water sealing properties.
